November 2015 - Clearview Soil Sampling

During the first two weeks of November, the EPA and contractors from Tetra Tech and EPI conducted incremental soil samples around the Clearview landfill. These samples were collected to estimate a concentration of hazardous materials in the soil around homes adjacent to the landfill. The results of these tests will help the EPA in designing a remediation plan.

Incremental Sampling: Removing soil from the ground so that each layer of soil can be tested separately for contaminants.
